Forest of Peace was
founded in 1979 and has achieved a national and international
reputation for publishing innovative books on prayer, spirituality, and
personal growth. It is also a source of new, fresh, and creative
liturgical art such as seasonal prints, greeting and prayer cards, and
posters. The Forest of Peace list has been built around best-selling author Father Edward Hays, and includes several notable books, including The Passionate Troubadour: A Medieval Novel About Francis of Assisi, Prayers for A Planetary Pilgrim, and Prayers for The Domestic Church. Forest of Peace was acquired by Ave Maria Press in 2003.
